REHAU is seeking to fill the position of Rack Repair Technician.
Responsibilities
Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
- Inspect and repair damaged internal and external packaging
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on racks and repair as per PM instructions
- Replace broken bolts, fasteners, swivels, cables, and scratch protection to racks as needed
- Use necessary hand tools to perform the repairs and clean packaging: powered drill, impact drive, reciprocating saw, side grinder or cutter
- Operate a forklift to transfer packaging
- Be able to inventory and keep track of materials used
- Perform light maintenance on forklifts (oil change, grease fittings, washing)
- Maintain paperwork on work completed
- Work independently, work safely, and follow all rules and regulations
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience required:
- Familiarity with basic powered hand tools.
- Basic math skills
- General mechanical skills
- Welding skills a plus
- Ability to drive a forklift

- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude
- Energetic self-starter (ability to work independently) without direction
