REHAU is seeking to fill PEX DC Shipping Tech position.
Responsibilities
Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:
- Verify shipments against bill of lading
- Pick items using SAP with a scanner (good basic math skills required)
- Operating forklift, also highbay & MD lift
- Repalitizing and shrink wrapping pallets for shipment.
- Loading & offloading trucks
Qualifications
Physical Demands:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and operate forklift. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms to lift boxes and repalitize.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Work Environment:
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee must have good basic math skills to complete daily tasks.
- Operate highbay lift & other fork lift devices in DC.
Education and/or Experience Required:
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people.
- Must be able to work in a hot & fast paced environment.
