What are the responsibilities and job description for the SOFTWARE ENGINEER position at Reinke Manufacturing Co., Inc.?
The Software Engineer will work in the Electrical & Software Engineering Department, with experienced engineers, working on interesting and ground-breaking projects in the areas of software application level design, front end and back end sources, and depending on your skills, electronic communications systems design, micro-controller development including firmware creation, and electrical control.
You will be involved in a variety of software engineering tasks and assignments including the designing, planning and testing of new and existing products. You will work in a team environment on new product development as well as product sustaining and maintenance, and our interesting and varied work will stretch your skills and keep you sharp on emerging technology and processes.
You will participate in virtually all aspects of engineering product design – including conducting thorough engineering and technical investigations for project assignments, designing and creating specifications, requirements and engineering prototypes for concept evaluation, product development execution to schedule, interfaces with third-party contractors, preparation of comprehensive engineering reports, drawings, routings, bills of material, summaries and analyses for use by manufacturing operations, quality assurance, document control and manufacturing engineering. This position requires sound knowledge of software engineering and methods for the creation and development of ground-breaking products for Reinke’s Water Management business. The position requires at least a B.S. in Software Engineering or similar area of study, with at least 2-years of relevant work or educational project based experience or post-graduate education, well as a strong fascination for your chosen career.
