summary ProLogistix is looking for a Water Jet Operator at a client site in Duncan, SC! Shifts Available : 1st shift : 7 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Monday-Friday with OT Pay $18-$25 DOE Key Responsibilities as a Water Jet Operator : Set up and operate high speed water jet cutter to cut and trim parts Read work orders, prints, and specifications to determine machine setup and type of material or part Measure and mark cutting and trimming lines on material or part Install and align machine accessories using hand tools and measuring instruments and enter coordinate information into computer control panel using tech pendant May trim, sand, and drill parts using shop equipment Measure dimensions of finished product using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators or check fixture Clean machines and work area Other duties as assigned required-skills : Job Requirements as a Water Jet Operator : High School Diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of Water Jet / manufacturing experience Basic knowledge of welding equipment, theory, safety, and quality processes Basic knowledge of calibrated and precision equipment Good written and oral communication skills and good organizational skills Able to lift 50lbs throughout shift High School Diploma / GED
