What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Ringside Talent?
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to work for our Cleveland client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end close processes and support the proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and company policies
- Complete accounting processes and maintain effective internal controls around the tracking and accounting and related reserves in accordance with US GAAP
- Ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding systems, the flow of transactions, internal controls and recommending efficiency and effectiveness improvements
- Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes and controls
- Responsible for training and assisting less experienced accountants.
- Performs other duties, ad hoc requests, and projects as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of professional accounting experience
- Excellent knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, and procedures
- Highly developed communication, both written and verbal
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
