Riverside Country Club of Bozeman, MT, is looking to hire a part-time Line Cook for Sundays and Mondays from 8 am to 4 pm, with additional hours for the right candidate. Established in 1959, we are a member-owned country club with an 18-hole championship golf course, racquet sports facilities, swimming pools, banquet facilities, and dining facilities. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINE COOK
As a Line Cook at our country club, you arrive each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our quality standards. You set up and prepare the line for service with all necessary supplies, ensuring food items are correctly stored and rotated. To ensure consistency and guest satisfaction, you portion and cook food according to our standardized recipes and assemble and plate food in an appealing manner. Your attention to detail ensures that each dish meets our established guidelines in every aspect and adheres to any special requests.
To ensure that properly cooked food gets out to diners promptly, you communicate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff while working in an organized, coordinated, and efficient manner. You maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. You even help create recipes and daily or weekly specials when called upon. You love working in a fast-paced culinary environment. Your friendly attitude and professional approach towards coworkers, members, and guests contribute significantly to Riverside's success.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LINE COOK
- Previous Kitchen experiance
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods
- Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
