A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PART-TIME FOODSERVICE SUPPORT STAFF
As a Foodservice Support Staff member, you make a great first impression by providing outstanding customer service to our members and their guests. You greet and seat them with a friendly and welcoming attitude, informing their server of their arrival. You work closely with the servers and kitchen to ensure that correct orders are delivered to them promptly. Ensuring proper presentation, you run food to tables for servers when needed.
You also answer phones and take reservations. Taking pride in our clean and sanitary dining areas, you are conscientious about following proper health codes and cleaning procedures and keeping everything stocked at proper levels. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction from helping our members have a great experience!
Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:
- Providing outstanding customer service to RCC members and guests
- Greeting members and guests
- Seating members and guests
- Communicating member and guest arrivals with the service staff
- Maintaining clean and sanitary dining areas
- Maintaining health code procedures
- Maintaining RCC cleaning procedures
- Answering the phone
- Taking reservations
- Assisting servers when necessary
- Running food
- Overseeing food presentation before it leaves the kitchen (expo)
- Ensuring that all food is prepared according to the order specifications (expo)
- Maintaining par levels of line inventory (expo)
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PART-TIME FOOD SERVICE SUPPORT STAFF
- 15 years of age
- Have or obtain food handlers certification
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Exceptional customer service skills
