Lifeguard

Riverside Country Club of Bozeman, MT, is looking to hire Lifeguards to monitor the pool facility and provide assistance and protection to swimmers during the summer (Memorial Day-Labor Day). Lifeguards earn a competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $18.00/hour, depending on experience. But that's not all! Employees are allowed to use all club facilities, including the golf course, when space is available. ABOUT RIVERSIDE COUNTRY CLUB

Established in 1959, we are a member-owned country club that has an 18-hole championship golf course, racket sports facilities, swimming pools, banquet facilities, and dining facilities. As the only full-service, family-oriented country club in the Gallatin Valley, we pride ourselves in our warm, friendly atmosphere that caters to the needs of our members and their families.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LIFEGUARD

As a Lifeguard, you ensure the safety of all members when in and around the pool. When summer arrives, our members are incredibly excited about getting to spend time there, and you enjoy being a part of this vibrant energy, which includes all ages having fun in the sun. You maintain the same level of customer service in the pool area as members enjoy in the other areas of our club.

With a friendly and outgoing attitude, you assist and care for others while administering first aid and rescuing people from hazardous situations. You will be responsible for monitoring environmental conditions to detect hazards, patrol natural areas to ensure safety, and enforce regulations.

Taking pride in a clean, well-organized pool and pool deck, you ensure that daily and weekly duties are correctly completed, and any concerns are relayed to upper management. You enjoy spending the summer working at the pool and get great satisfaction out of helping our members have a great time!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LIFEGUARD

• 15 years of age
• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Leadership ability
• Conflict Resolution situations
