In this role, you will handle a variety of transactional accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy of financial operations for a non-profit organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization while working collaboratively with a supportive team.Responsibilities:• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.• Handle billing operations, including preparation and distribution of invoices to appropriate parties.• Assist with general ledger tasks, such as reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate records.• Provide transactional accounting support to ensure smooth financial operations.• Use Peachtree/Sage software to perform accounting tasks efficiently and accurately.• Step in to assist at the front desk when necessary to maintain seamless operations.• Follow established procedures outlined in the organization's manual and suggest updates or improvements as needed.• Support financial reporting and documentation to comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.
