Description

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a reputable manufacturing company on a short-term basis with the possibility of permanent placement. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are well-versed in both AP and AR functions.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable:

• Proactively follow up with customers on billing and payments via customer portals to ensure timely collection.
• Accurately post cash receipts and prepare deposits for bank processing.
• Process ACH wires and reconcile credit card and AMEX transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and maintain the accounts receivable aging report, focusing on resolving balances in the 50–60-day range.
  
  
  

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices using AMEX, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders (POs).
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline AP/AR processes and maintain accurate financial records.
  
  
  

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency with Macola ERP or similar systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
• Familiarity with electronic banking systems for ACH and wire transfers.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in combined AP and AR roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for customer and vendor interactions.
  
  
  

Assignment Details

• Duration: Approximately 2 months with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and company needs.
