Robert Half is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Based out of the Aiea, Hawaii area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire opening. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk tasks will consist of matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. Key responsibilities
- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
- Carry out a full-cycle A/P
- Provide customer service to internal business partners
- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
- Execute additional tasks as needed
