Your responsibilities in this role
- Develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, actual spend against budgets/outlook, and key financial metrics
- Compose diverse procedures, policies, and technical accounting analyses
- Create accountability and the meeting of deliverables
- Alternative duties as requested
- Backfill for Controller where applicable
- Scan and conceive Ad Hoc financial reports
- Exceptional preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits
- Define and flourish process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency
- Help with the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
- Endorse implementation and confirm adherence to accounting policies and procedures
- Guarantee regular account reconciliation to completion
- Lend a hand to ensure a competent, trained staff through goal setting, regular assessment, and development
- Provide assistance to the accounting team during the closing process to make certain deadlines are met
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"
- Workday experience
- Command of HealthCare Industry
- GAAP Accounting experience
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- 7 years of general ledger accounting experience
- CPA certification desired
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Deep technical background in public accounting (GAAP)
- Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
