Auditing Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will assist with auditing processes, primarily focusing on non-profit clients. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a background in audits.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough audits for non-profit clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Assist in preparing detailed reports and documentation related to audit findings.
• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve processes.
• Utilize tax audit expertise to review financial records and identify potential risks.
• Work with auditing software to streamline engagement and reporting tasks.
• Maintain records and ensure all data is organized for easy reference.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance standards.
• Support the implementation of audit improvements and best practices.
• Previous experience in auditing, with a focus on non-profit organizations preferred.
• Proficiency in tax audits and financial review processes.
• Familiarity with auditing software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Knowledge of regulations and compliance standards related to audits.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
