We are in search of a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in the CPA industry, based in Maitland, Florida. As a Bookkeeper, your primary role will involve managing all aspects of accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and using financial software for bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of accounting functions including journal entries and general ledger accounting
- Undertake balance sheet reconciliation tasks for accurate record-keeping
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping to maintain precise financial records
- Use financial software like CSA and/or QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping tasks
- Process data entry tasks effectively
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Handle payroll responsibilities
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
- Maintain and update customer credit records accurately.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a CPA Firm or similar industry.
- Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Experience in Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping is highly valued.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in handling Payroll.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks software.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Relevant certification or degree is preferred.
