Robert Half has a client in the medical field hiring for a permanent Application Support Specialist. We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Clinical Informatics Specialist in the Healthcare / NHS sector. The role involves overseeing clinical technology applications to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency under the supervision of the Clinical Informatics Manager.
Responsibilities :
Provide consultation, configuration, testing, support, and training for clinical technology applications to enhance workflow efficiency and patient care.
Develop a deep understanding of user workflows and assigned systems, and recommend improvements to optimize utilization.
Lead system upgrades, ensuring they are carried out through accurate configuration, rigorous testing, and comprehensive training.
Manage resources across various projects, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly and escalated where necessary.
Collaborate in the creation of training materials and documentation, and facilitate communication between IT and operations departments.
Participate in committees and system evaluations to address clinical computing needs.
Continually develop your skills and knowledge in organization-specific clinical technologies.
Maintain expertise in a variety of technologies such as Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, Dell, Firewall, and Backup technologies, as well as Active Directory and Computer Hardware.
Apply your knowledge of AB Testing and Cluster Analysis to improve system efficiency and effectiveness.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Clinical Informatics role or similar within the Healthcare / NHS industry.
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, demonstrating a strong understanding and practical application.
Experience with Citrix Technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, displaying a clear understanding of its implementation and maintenance.
Proficiency in Dell Technologies, including the ability to navigate, operate, and manage systems.
Demonstrated experience with Firewall Technologies, showcasing the ability to protect networks and data.
A strong understanding of AB Testing methodologies and their practical applications within the healthcare sector.
Extensive experience with Active Directory, showing the ability to manage and maintain user access controls.
Expertise in Backup Technologies, ensuring data is securely stored and can be recovered in case of loss.
Knowledge in Cluster Analysis, demonstrating the ability to group sets of data based on similarities.
Proficiency in Computer Hardware, showcasing the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computer systems.
