This permanent position is for a Controller who will work in the Plymouth, Wisconsin region. Candidates who can plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff, will be preferred for this position. To succeed in this role, you will need to effectively manage self and others within strict time constraints when providing client services, lead while also being a team player, generate innovative ideas, and challenge the status quo. Responsibilities

- Assess deliverables of self and team to verify they meet client expectations

- Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

- Occasionally perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities

- Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash

- Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques

- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly

- Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

- Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective

- Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners

- Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation

- Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll

Requirements

- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

- Excellent technology, analytics and management experience required

- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

- Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

- Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

- Month-end Financial experience preferred

- Good understanding of Data Analytics

- Earlier work involving analytics

- Quality experience with cost accounting

- Practical knowledge of CPA

- Month-end Close Activities experience desired

- Proven knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements

- Proficiency in Perform Month-end

- Command of Month-end Journal Entries

- General familiarity with Power BI

- Wide ranging experience with KPI Reporting

- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Power BI

- Consolidated Financial Statements experience

- Previous experience working with Financial Analytics

- Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

- Great attention to detail

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
