Credit Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join our client's team on a contract basis in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for managing credit-related tasks and ensuring smooth financial operations for large customers. Your expertise in credit analysis and commercial collections will be essential to maintaining accurate records and resolving claims effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue letters of credit for large customer accounts.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage collections processes to recover outstanding payments.

• File and oversee organizational documentation related to credit claims.

• Handle bankruptcy process claims with precision and attention to detail.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of credit-related processes and procedures.

• Proven experience in credit analysis and commercial credit management.
• Strong background in handling commercial collections efficiently.
• Familiarity with credit applications and related financial documentation.
• Ability to file and manage claims during bankruptcy processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and customers.
