We are seeking a Database Analyst to join our team in the education sector based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The role involves working with databases, front-end website experience, and providing basic IT and office support. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Work with educational databases, specifically Filemaker, to manage various student and academic data.
Run reports, extract data, and conduct data queries as necessary.
Update websites and create WebForms to facilitate communication and information sharing.
Collaborate with different teams and departments through email and other communication channels.
Provide basic IT and Audio Video support to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with office-related tasks such as setting up for events, guest speakers, and important meetings.
Maintain a detail oriented demeanor in an office/education environment.
Show willingness to grow and be trained in various IT and database related tasks.
Display strong teamwork and communication skills in all interactions.
Requirements
Applicant must possess at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the Education industry.
Proficiency in database software, particularly FileMaker and FileMaker Pro, is a necessity.
Must be adept at creating and managing Web Forms.
Knowledge of HTML is required.
Experience with WordPress is highly desirable.
Strong administrative skills are a must for managing and organizing data efficiently.
Familiarity with audio and video systems is beneficial.
Demonstrable experience in providing technical support is required.
Candidates are expected to be capable of providing technical support to team members when necessary.
