Financial Analyst - Entry Level

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst - Entry Level to join a team in Roseville, Minnesota. This role will focus on supporting middle-office operations for alternative investment vehicles such as private equity, private credit, and hedge funds. As a Contract to permanent position, this opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking to develop their expertise in financial operations and alternative investments in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and monitor capital calls, distributions, and cash transactions accurately.

• Maintain comprehensive records, schedules, and documentation related to investments.

• Reconcile investment data across custodians, administrators, and internal systems.

• Assist with updating valuations and preparing periodic financial reports.

• Organize and track fund notices, statements, and communications from managers.

• Support audit, tax, and reporting requirements with detailed documentation.

• Contribute to the documentation and improvement of operational processes and controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience, including internships, with a focus on attention to detail.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence in handling financial data.
• Dependable, process-driven, and detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, in-office work setting.
• Familiarity with alternative investments or fund administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in financial services, accounting, or operations is advantageous.
