We are seeking a Front-End Developer to join our team in Bartlett, Illinois. This role will involve creating and implementing web designs, ensuring the functionality and efficiency of web infrastructure, and delivering high-quality, user-friendly websites.
Responsibilities:
Develop WordPress Themes & Plugins as per the site development requirements using HTML, SASS, JavaScript, Blade, and PHP.
Build interactive site elements such as photo, video, and audio galleries as per specifications provided by the Project Manager.
Maintain knowledge of programming best practices, W3 standards for CSS, HTML, and JavaScript implementations.
Style website and site elements to match designs approved by clients.
Provide levels of effort and meet project timelines and milestones set forth by Project Managers and clients.
Analyze project tasks and requirements to provide estimates and accurately track time spent.
Implement third party and custom WordPress plugin solutions.
Solve complex problems and think critically when identifying solutions.
Utilize skills in CSS, CSS3, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap4, and other relevant technologies.
Use project & time tracking software proficiently.
Familiarize with DNS workings and web hosting.
Manage source control using git, GitHub, Composer, and NPM.
Apply knowledge of Yarn and Webpack for project requirements.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer or in a similar role
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Bug Tracking
Experience with Backend Development
Knowledge of Client-Side Scripting and Cross-Platform development
Expertise in Ajax, AngularJS, and CSS
Proven experience in Design and working with various Frameworks
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
