Inventory Clerk

Salary: $18.00 to $18.00 hourly

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role is centered in the industry of inventory management and warehousing, where the focus is on managing and organizing warehouse inventory, performing cycle counts, and handling shipping duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization and maintenance of warehouse inventory.
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Handle shipping duties including packing and dispatching goods.
• Accommodate bending and lifting tasks up to 25 lbs as part of the inventory management process.
• Ensure accurate documentation and records of shipping functions.
• Answer inbound calls as part of customer service duties.
• Conduct audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Implement data warehousing techniques for efficient inventory management.
• Adhere to warehouse duties and protocols in maintaining an efficient warehouse environment.
• Participate in the warehouse distribution process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficient in answering inbound calls, addressing inquiries, and providing customer assistance
• Experience in auditing, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with log shipping, and capable of managing and tracking shipped goods
• Demonstrable skills in shipping and receiving, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping
• Ability to handle shipping documentation, maintaining clarity and order in paperwork
• Expertise in shipping functions, including packaging, labeling, and dispatching
• Knowledge of data warehousing, understanding its role in inventory management
• Experience in warehouse inventory, including tracking, updating, and managing stock levels
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and efficiency standards
• Capable of performing various warehouse duties, from organizing goods to operating machinery
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution, ensuring goods are dispatched to the correct locations.
