IT Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hands on IT Manager to join our team. As a hands on IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth functioning of our company's technology infrastructure. You will manage projects, and provide strategic direction to align IT initiatives with organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills, and is capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: IT Operations Management: Oversee the operational activities of the IT department, ensuring efficient and reliable functioning of all systems, networks, hardware, and software. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a small team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to support their detail oriented growth and development. Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to ensure timely and quality delivery of IT projects and tasks. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge. Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, migrations, and integrations. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and manage resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project completion. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, identify business needs, and implement effective IT solutions. Technology Infrastructure: Assess, recommend, and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and security. Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to make informed decisions regarding IT investments and improvements. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of hardware, software, and services. Information Security and Compliance: Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect company data, networks, and systems from unauthorized access, threats, and vulnerabilities. Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and penetration tests to identify and address security gaps and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
