Robert Half is looking for a Junior Staff Accountant (2 years) to join our internal consulting group. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys variety, strong fundamentals, and wants to grow while supporting different client environments through consulting engagements.
What You’ll Do
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepare/post journal entries and support general ledger activity
- Assist with month-end close tasks and accounting support
- Research discrepancies, resolve variances, and ensure accuracy
- Work across different teams/environments while maintaining strong documentation and controls
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong experience with reconciliations and journal entries
- Comfort working in a GL-focused environment
- ERP experience is a plus (any system—SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/etc.)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
