We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for managing goods movement and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and clients. Responsibilities• Manage and coordinate the movement of goods, ensuring efficient handling of shipments.• Maintain regular communication with carriers, shippers, and receivers to monitor shipments, resolve issues, and provide updates.• Schedule and manage appointments for pickups, deliveries, and returns, including port and warehouse appointments.• Ensure accurate and timely data entry of shipment details, updates, and documentation in relevant software.• Verify and update billing information, including accessorial charges, while processing and uploading proof of delivery documents.• Act as a point of contact for resolving operational issues and discrepancies arising during the shipping process.• Prepare regular performance reports to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, enhance service levels, and meet client expectations.
