Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Orlando, Florida, and offers the opportunity to contribute to complex financial transactions and corporate growth strategies. Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.
• Evaluate and interpret ledger balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate reporting during transactions.
• Prepare and analyze consolidated balance sheet data to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess acquisition opportunities and align them with organizational goals.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to leadership teams.
• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and standards throughout the M& A process.
• Support the integration of acquired entities, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment with existing operations.
• Identify risks and opportunities in proposed transactions and provide actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams to execute M& A strategies effectively.
• Assist in the preparation of post-acquisition performance reviews and integration assessments.
• Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction execution.
• Strong knowledge of ledger balance sheet accounts and consolidated balance sheets.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for conveying findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented approach to identifying risks and opportunities in financial transactions.
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
