Responsible for the delivery of other functions of the payroll department including payroll accounting, benefits administration, reporting and year end processes.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for preparation of semi-monthly U.S. payroll reconciliation spreadsheetsManage all input of semi-monthly U.S. payroll changes, including, new hires, terms, other data changesInquire, research and set up SUI, State and other tax jurisdictions as necessaryCollate payroll/benefits changes for the Canada payroll providerResponsible for maintaining HR data records to properly record any pay related changes in the payroll system.Liaise with Finance team on all related payroll inquiries and collaborate cross functionally with other areas of the organizationAssist in processing 401k enrollmentAssist with 401k Non-discrimination testing and 401k annual auditAssist with set-up of new tax jurisdictions\Assist with garnishments, verifications of employment and unemployment claimsFacilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditorsRespond timely to employee payroll inquiriesAssist the US HR department as neededEnsuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.At all times complying with the company's Code of ConductTo ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
