We are offering a position that is centered around administrative and organizational tasks in the telecommunications industry. The role will be based in Baltimore, Maryland, and will involve managing telecommunications resources and services for various city agencies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the needs of city agencies and provide relevant information on the services, procedures, and guidelines of the Department of Telecommunications.
- Handle the processing and distribution of wireless devices such as mobile phones and modems.
- Maintain and update an inventory of telephone equipment.
- Assist in resolving service problems and complaints raised by City agencies.
- Utilize personal computer and office software applications, including email, teams, workday, and file management tools.
- Prepare files and documents, create and maintain files in Excel.
- Operate office equipment like printers, copiers, shredders, etc.
- Perform data gathering and research activities, and provide reports or summaries of information collected to management.
- Prepare or maintain reports of records and other statistical and quantitative data.
- Handle the sorting and distribution of office mail.
- Manage departmental supplies and inventories, including tracking status and orders.
- File documents and develop and modify filing procedures.
- Perform other duties as needed.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess advanced knowledge in Office Administration
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in managing multiple schedules and arranging meetings
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Experience in handling office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and photocopiers
- Ability to handle and resolve administrative issues and inquiries efficiently
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Proven ability to manage office budget and expenses.
