Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee routine department activities such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure that they are done accurately and on time.
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
- Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
- Assist in tax preparation and filing activities.
- Preparation of financial reports for management to review.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting or related field.
- Able to analyze financial records and translate data into a financial statement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and with the latest financial accounting software.
- Strong mathematical, computer, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
