- Prepare complex accounting analyses and journal entries to maintain the accuracy of balance sheet accounts. These accounts may include accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, accruals, and reserves.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and other internal/external financials for use by internal operating management, board of directors, and external parties.
- Utilize best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or solve complex problems. This focus would be on accounting processes, systems, and controls.
- Perform analysis to assist in the preparation of monthly results and comparisons with budget.
- Manage sections of the balance sheet.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end reporting.
- Assist in the improvement of internal controls.
- Maintain a team mindset and effort. Work collaboratively with the finance team and organizational leaders.
- Utilize skills in General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Month End Close.
