We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Solana Beach, California. The Staff Accountant will be a valuable addition to our team, focusing on various entities within our organization. One of the key aspects of this role will be handling Accounts Payable functions and assisting with electronic payments, among other duties.Responsibilities:• Facilitate the check run process and assist with electronic payments• Manage wires and ACH bank transfers• Handle ad hoc reporting and 1099 Reporting• Process invoices received via email or directly to the accounting manager through our accounting software, Yardi• Ensure all approvals for invoicing and documentation are completed through Yardi• Handle the wire process, once approvals through Yardi are obtained• Process journal entries as needed• Address any queries from vendors and process expense reports received for approval• Utilize Excel for various tasks, with training provided if necessary• Assist with bank reconciliations, preparation of monthly financials, and journal entries• Handle tasks related to the general ledger, including the preparation of financial statements.
