Robert Half is looking to for a Systems Administrator for a local government client located in Monroe, Washington! This position is a long-term contract!

Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical expert to assist end users and IT staff with complex desktop computer hardware and software problems. Handle difficult and complex network and desktop computer and software problems that cannot be resolved by the technical support staff. Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users regarding network-related issues and inquiries.
- Develop, review and maintain one off and routine documentation for all critical systems/network infrastructure, develops standard operating procedures for ongoing maintenance tasks, runbooks, and scripts in support of the environment.
- Design, configure and maintain on-premises Microsoft Enterprise services and Microsoft 365 services. Installs and configures operating systems, application software, and updates on workstations and servers.
- Responsible for configuration and management of all devices connected to the network including printers, copiers, and scanners.
- Provide ad-hoc and recurring end-user communications (email, guides), training (in-person, remote, and recorded) for a wide range of topics including software use, maintenance, policies, and project updates.
- Configures, prepares, and deploys new desktop workstations for end users and facilitates hardware relocation and network setup.
- Administers on-site and cloud-based network and communication infrastructure, services, and applications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Systems Administration and/or similar roles.
- Proficient supporting Windows OS/Windows Server.
- Experience with Azure environments.
- Must have experience with InTune, MDM software and VoIP systems.
- Basic networks troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, VLAN).
- Experience support Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365.
