We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer in West Chester, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be a part of our team, focusing on the execution of technology within respective departments, implementing and maintaining systems, and ensuring corporate security.
Responsibilities:
Spearhead a One Drive migration project, using your strong background in Active Directory and on-premises systems.
Manage a business continuity project, which includes managing VM Backups and recoveries using a tool in Rubrik.
Work closely with the development team and the infrastructure team, providing a strong support system.
Take the initiative and drive upcoming projects, showing a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Deploy infrastructure for developers, demonstrating your understanding of traditional infrastructure responsibilities.
Transition from on-premises systems to OneDrive, showcasing your ability to manage change and implement new systems.
Maintain daily support, configuration, and implementation of Active Directory, Azure & Office 365.
Stay up-to-date on security risks and ensure corporate security, highlighting your dedication to maintaining a secure environment.
Resolve all reported issues promptly and efficiently, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and commitment to customer service.
Execute new design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of our systems and related technology. Possess a strong understanding of Cisco Technologies
Proficient in Cloud Technologies, including deployment and management
Exhibit expertise in Active Directory, including user and group management
Have experience with AWS Technologies, including EC2, S3, and RDS
Knowledgeable in Backup Technologies, including data backup and recovery
Experienced in VMware, including virtual machine creation and management
Ability to identify and troubleshoot system issues effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred
Relevant certifications in Cisco, AWS, or VMware would be an advantage.
