Job Summary
The Project Technician will work with the Project Management Director to ensure that new/rehab homes are “Showable Ready” in the prescribed timeframes for the Sales Department.? Additionally, this position provides “Epic Customer Service”.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure all homes are 100% complete, ready to move in;
- Measuring and marking lots to aid in determining home placement
- Coordinate with contractors in completion and workmanship.
- Maintain a daily work log on progress of home completion.
- Communicate with Project Management Team on progress of homes
- Troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues- including under homes
- Replace mini-blinds, water heaters, install interior doors, and adjust doors and jambs.
- Some drywall repair and painting as required
- Complete 19 Point Inspection Checklist on all new homes
- Signoff on any applicable QA forms along with contractors
- Complete all internal service work orders in a timely manner
- Replace mini-blinds, water heaters, install interior doors, and adjust doors and jambs.
- Ability to perform minor service work such as change out ceiling fans and water faucets, etc.
- Perform some drywall repair and painting as required
- Must have work orders signed by residents
- Have a clean, professional appearance (you will be representing Roberts Communities when entering resident’s homes)
- Make sure all work areas including storage areas are organized and kept clean
- Track and update inventory of all Roberts materials, tools and equipment in performance of duties
- Upkeep and maintenance of inventory homes
- Oversee home rehabs on pre-owned homes.
- Perform special projects as assigned by Project Management Director
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of general maintenance role preferably in campground, resort, or residential housing
- Demonstrate knowledge of broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance
- Proficient skills in operating hand tolls, power equipment and commercial machinery
- Ability to provide legible written reports
- Ability to work independently as well as a team
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to respond to department deeds during non-business hours
- Valid Driver’s license and good driving record

Salary : $45,400 - $57,500
