What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator/Laborer position at Round Bottom Recycling?
Hours: Monday thru Friday 8-4 and every other Saturday 8-1
Pay: $15 an hour to start with many opportunities to advance
Learn Non-Ferrous metals and how to process them and place them in the right package (Types of wire, copper, brass, radiators, computer scrap, aluminum, wheels, and stainless steel)
Operating a forklift to move skids of material around, dump hoppers in correct roll offs and bins and unload customer vehicles. Going through our forklift safety program for safe operation of our forklifts
Separating/ cleaning material to get ready to be shipped out EX: Separating wire in its correct baler and taking steel or plastic off of aluminum to make it clean.
Operating bailers for the material that is sorted and ready to be placed in a package. Balers include Wire, Radiators, Cans, and Cardboard. Going through our Lock out tag out program to be able to take a bale out safely.
Help customers get their material to the scale and help the person running the scale sort and buy the material. Showing new customers how to go about getting the material to the scale. Placing the bought material in the correct bin or area.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
