Human Resources Business Partner
Fremont, CA, US
Job Summary
The Human Business Partner will work closely with assigned site executives and their staffs at our Fremont site to provide both strategic and tactical support. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of HR experience and at least 3 years of Business Partner/Generalist experience, preferably within lean-driven manufacturing organizations. This role will work closely with client groups and the broader HR team to identify, design and implement HR initiatives that support company-wide objectives.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
· Work closely with site leadership and employees to improve work relationships, inspire engagement, and increase productivity and retention.
· Lead site sourcing/staffing activities to acquire key talent (hourly and salaried) and achieve workforce plan objectives.
· Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with leaders to develop solutions, programs and policies.
· Develop and implement HR strategies that drive a high-performance and high-engagement culture, including Talent and Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Communications and Total Rewards.
· Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations where necessary.
· Track and report on site HR metrics.
· Manage HR administration and compliance activities as necessary.
Qualifications
· 5 years of HR experience; 3 years of Business Partner/Generalist experience
· Strong employee relations and staffing background
· Business acumen – understanding of financial and operational concepts/techniques
· Experience with manufacturing organization, preferably lean-driven
· Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels
· Solid track record driving HR initiatives
· Expert knowledge of local and federal labor laws
· Strong MS Office skill
· HRIS proficiency (Workday preferred)
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business/HR/OD or equivalent; PHR, SPHR preferred
