Job Overview:
Operates and assess monitoring of patients in the Cardiac Catherization Lab. Administer individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardiac catherization lab procedures.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma.
- Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.
Preferred:
Radiology Tech license preferred
Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):
- Current RCIS certification or RAD license.
- Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):
- 27.5 Hour Work Week

Essential Functions:
- Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures.
- Assists MD with Cath/PCI, peripheral, structural heart (Mitraclip, Watchman), EP cases, and neuro.
- Adheres to on call policy requirements.
- Executes special assignment with the lab. Participates in quality improvement programs and inventory control.
- Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
