Job Description
- Assemble parts and/or units and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using various hand and power tools.
- Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Connect cables, rods, and wiring according to standard manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Possess working knowledge of basic hand tools including torque, crimper, etc.
- Solder using intermediate techniques.
- Demonstrate intermediate computer skills, including ability to use computer's scroll bars, mouse, and dialog boxes to work within operating system.
- Use specific computer databases including Oracle to manage information, input data, retrieve specific records, and communicate information.
- Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents and possess ability to read and interpret drawings and wire lists.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years qualified mechanical assembly manufacturing experience, a high school degree or equivalent required, and technical degree or certification in the field of assembly, mechanics, or maintenance preferred but not required.
