Description
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Associate to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Performs Operational Support tasks for the 18G FST.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Audits available data, identifies deficiencies, manages data, researches data sources for program supportability data and submits findings to the Government.
- Provide assistance in planning and organizing a project and its resources.
- Consolidate, arrange/initiate, track, and coordinate team meetings, publish agendas, record and distribute minutes for team meetings, maintain the team calendar, and consolidate and prepare reports for weekly/monthly significant events.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelor’s degree and zero (0) years or more of related experience or equivalent. Experience in lieu of the degree will be accepted
- Prior military experience
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Microsoft Project) including word-processing, presentation, and spreadsheet and integrated software applications
- Excellent communication skills; inter-personal; organizational and detail-oriented
- Thrives in a deadline-driven environment.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple project assignments.
- Interim secret clearance required to start with ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
- Familiar with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2D)
