Established professional services firm in Boston is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. The Payroll Specialist will support all US payroll processes and should be comfortable with a high-volume fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Support biweekly US payroll administration
- Ensure pay, withholdings, and deductions are reported accurately
- Partner with the Benefits team on deductions, salary changes, new hires, etc.
- Prepare payroll journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and benefit-related analysis
- Prepare payroll tax forms and monthly/quarterly report filings
- Research complex issues (tax, global payroll, benefits) and deliver solutions
- Offer company-wide support for any payroll-related matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of payroll experience
- Multi-state payroll experience
- Strong Excel; experience with Workday and/or UKG a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player, detail-oriented, highly organized
