With over 25 years of increasing visibility and prominence, our boutique HR consulting firm, Seawright & Associates, currently has an opening for an HR Project Assistant. Our distinguished firm provides HR consultation to employers in multiple industries across the country. Our clients rely on us to proactively solve complex HR issues and to provide trusted advice that helps minimize employment risks, maximize productivity, and maintain compliance with state and federal employment regulations (Title VII, FLSA, ADA, NLRA, FMLA, etc.). We have a reputation for saving our clients time, money, and headaches by helping them solve HR issues early on before they become liabilities.
We seek a talented HR Project Assistant to help manage the firm’s administrative processes and provide high-quality, efficient project support to consultants. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting consultants with regulatory research and client project work; creating, updating, editing, and proofreading a variety of documents; corresponding with clients via email and phone; assisting with preparing and publishing e-bulletins via Constant Contact; maintaining client files and lists; managing/ordering office supplies and equipment; and opening/closing the office.
This is an on-site position with flexible start and stop times (30-40 hours per week) and the opportunity to leave early on most Fridays. Remote work is not available.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of HR administrative experience, preferably in privately-owned, multi-state, small- or medium-sized businesses, and the following skills:
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word with the ability to create complex documents
- Strong vocabulary, reading, editing, and proofreading skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical problem-solving skills
- A commitment to excellence and appreciation for quality work
- A willingness and desire to work in a small firm with a quiet office setting
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
