The Star Trainer-Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining service to residents and guests with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Workload Expectations
- Your workload will be adjusted during training shifts so you can focus on observation, coaching, and support. When not actively training, your regular job duties will resume as normal.
- You must be flexible and available to train on days, nights, and weekends, depending on when new hires are scheduled
Star Trainer-Servers are expected to champion Legendary Hospitality and support a strong, service-focused team culture. Responsibilities include:
- Provide hands-on training and guidance for new dining room servers in accordance with Senior Star’s training plans.
- Model and uphold dining service standards, customer service excellence, and teamwork expectations.
- Foster a warm and inclusive environment that helps new associates feel welcomed, confident, and valued.
- Observe and assess the progress of new associates; share timely, constructive feedback with supervisors.
- Coach and encourage new team members through challenges and celebrate milestones and growth.
- Promote Senior Star’s culture, mission, and values — including the Promise to “Do for each other with love.”
- Remain available for support and questions beyond the formal training period.
- Assist with resolving training obstacles; involve leadership as needed.
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet onboarding and community needs.
- Adapt positively to workflow or team changes, modeling professionalism and Legendary Hospitality.
