What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at Shasta Industries?
Xcel Surfaces/Shasta Pools is hiring for a Production Worker to help us manage workload within our warehouse. The Production Worker will support Warehouse Manager to ensure production moves smoothly and efficiently.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Move heavy load products and materials utilizing a forklift and Hand cart.
- Check inventory regularly to ensure adequate supply levels.
- Lift and move heavy items (up to 100 lbs) and perform other labor-intensive duties as assigned by manager.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- 1 years warehouse experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Excellent organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player with a positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
- Loading and unloading experience using a Forklift and Hand cart.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
