Position for hire: Pre-Construction Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our dedicated project management team responsible for defining the project’s objectives and overseeing quality control of the project. In this role, you will identify site-specific conditions, coordinate permitting with local municipalities and prepare projects for a smooth transition to construction.
As a new company, the current position will have substantial administrative duties as well and the candidate must be able to wear multiple hats. The candidate must be able to implement processes and workflows in order to help build a highly efficient company.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Some travel may be required (under 5%)
- Valid driver license with reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the pre-construction and construction teams to create a smooth process flow for sites going from pre-construction to construction
- Responsible for tracking and reporting to the client for subcontractor updates, permit application submittals, permit approval status, local jurisdiction inspections, tracking job assignments, and assisting with invoicing
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments, inspections, and client move outs
- Implement organized filing system to coordinate with existing company standards
- Perform all other office tasks as necessary
