Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Corporate Accounting to lead global financial reporting, consolidate quarterly and annual results, and ensure audit and regulatory compliance. This role will drive technical accounting initiatives under IFRS, oversee the consolidation process managing 1–2 accounting team members, and support cross-functional efforts for integration and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly global close and reporting processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS
- Serve as primary liaison for external auditors and manage audit-related deliverables
- Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Supervise and mentor a small team, fostering growth and performance
- Manage global topside entries and oversee intercompany reconciliations
- Maintain and optimize the Planful consolidation platform
- Review journal entries and reconciliations to ensure adherence to internal controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Support accounting integration efforts for new business initiatives and special projects
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required, Master’s preferred
- Public Accounting experience preferred
- 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in corporate leadership
- Deep knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation, and audit coordination
- Strong experience preparing complex financial statements
- Hands-on experience with Planful or similar consolidation tools(OneStream, Oracle EPM) preferred
- Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle, and Google Suite
