Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Software Engineer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities :
- Develop components and services for Adobe Express.
- Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Develop, test, and deploy your code.
- Work well independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication.
- Engage with developers on the team to identify high-priority workflows, and test ideas, and write end-to-end test cases.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of strong experience building and maintaining high-complexity web apps based on any JS stack.
- BS or MS in Computer Science
- Foundational solid skills in Typescript/Javascript, Component Building & Organizing, Separation of concerns.
- Experience writing & maintaining UI test automation and service-based tests.
- Experience with Web Components: Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, ES Modules, Templates, LitElement.
- Ability to contribute anywhere in the stack and wear different hats.
- Experience building services using Node.js and associated frameworks such as Express.Working in an environment where quality is top of the mind (unit, integration, e2e testing)Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development practices Excellent communication skills
