What are the responsibilities and job description for the Before and After School Teacher position at South Wood County YMCA?
The South Wood County YMCA is currently seeking qualified teachers for sites in Nekoosa . Qualified applicants will have prior Early Childhood experience and be current on CPR/First Aid/AED. Hours are Monday thru Friday 6:45- 8:30 am and 3:30 - 6:00pm. With a possibility of additional hours 11:00-1:00 Summer hours available as well.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide interactive, fun and educational care.
- Assist in creating weekly lesson plans that include a variety of activities with children through stories, games and outdoor play.
- Licensing procedures to ensure quality care is being provided.
- Positive relationships with children, parents and site employees.
Qualifications/prior experience:
- School-age environment experience helpful
- CPR/First Aid/AED certificates.
- Knowledge of Wisconsin Child Care licensing standards is preferred, however training is provided onsite.
