What are the responsibilities and job description for the S.N.F. L.V.N position at SOUTHERN INYO HEALTHCARE DISTRICT?
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent to (REQUIRED).
- Currently registered and licensed in good standing with the California State Board of Nursing (REQUIRED).
- CPR and First Aid certification (REQUIRED).
- IV certification preferred.
Other Qualifications Required:
- Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms using the English language.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from residents, patients, physicians, peers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to work independent
- Ability to provide those services requiring the skills of a licensed vocational nurse in accordance with the plan of care.
- Ability to provide documents skilled nursing care on all visits (includes skilled observation of the patient’s condition, skilled care, and procedures and teaching of the patient and/or family).
- Ability to Meet established productivity standards.
- Ability to Seek out and maintain skills and knowledge relevant to skilled nursing facility.
