Level IV - RESET Program

ABOUT SMEC

Located in Austin, Minnesota, SMEC is an education district made up of seven member districts: Alden-Conger, Glenville-Emmons, Grand Meadow, Kingsland, Leroy-Ostrander, Lyle, Southland that offer special education services and programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualified candidates will work with students placed in our RESET level IV program.

• Providing direct assistance to students with emotional and behavioural needs.
• Meet individual student goals and personal care assistant (PCA) services.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED and one of the following o AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, or Two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution of higher education which are applicable towards a bachelor’s degree, or a Passing score of 460 (or higher) on the ParaPro assessment within 30 days of employment.
