Essential Functions

  • Tasks which Include but are not limited to:
    • Invoice and Expense processing thru workflow
    • Maintain workflow hierarchy
    • Managing submissions of requests through ServiceNow and/or email
    • Vendor Maintenance and review
    • Maintain records for accurate Sales & Use tax filing
    • Maintain records for accurate 1099 reporting
    • Assist in training new employees as they onboard within AP
    • The position is responsible for communication to bank employees regarding the AP workflow
    • Assist with AP policies & procedures
    • Assist with implementation of new systems and procedures during mergers & acquisitions
    • Other AP related tasks as assigned

    Qualifications, Education, And Certification Requirements

    • Education: Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting preferred.
    • Experience: AP experience is preferred.
    • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of accounting and accounts payable processes and systems; Microsoft Office; WorkDay experience a plus; report writing/technical knowledge; good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.


    Training Requirements/Classes

    Required annual compliance training; New Employee Orientation

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk. This position may require bending and reaching.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The position is located inside a cooled and heated facility with ability to go to a break room or rest room during breaks. Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered. Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
