Southwest Construction Services is a Texas based construction company founded in 1993. We specialize in Concrete, Sawing, Waterproofing, Architectural Flooring, Demolition.
Southwest Construction is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The ideal applicant will have a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and a desire to be a team player. Additionally, the applicant should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an admin role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Processing vendor and supplier invoices
- Issuing subcontracts and purchase orders
- Review weekly Hourly payroll for field employees
- Maintain proper storage of documents by organizing & scanning them
- Verify the accuracy of overtime compensation
- Recognize and correct apparent discrepancies/deviations
- Assist other members of the team as needed or assigned
Skills & abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Problem Sensitivity - ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
- Provide accurate and timely information to management
- Proficient in Microsoft word & excel
Requirements
- 4 years degree from an accredited university
Or
- 3 years of relevant office experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
